The slim glass tube contains an inner reflector that mirrors the bulb beautifully, and you can choose where to position the reflector - to the front, back or side of the tube, altering the lighting effect accordingly. There's even a version where the brackets are designed to wedge the light into corners, brilliant for certain occasions.
