What’s so special about this light …

Pirce’s award-winning design is one of Artemide’s top sellers. Originally released in halogen, its light source has been reimagined to incorporate a high quality, energy-efficient LED light source.

Pirce is not only an elegant light source, it is an alluring decoration with a strong sense of presence turned on or off. Its slim disc merges softly into flowing twirls that spiral downwards to create alluring lighting effects.

Worth Noting 

  • Creates a strong pool of light onto the ceiling
  • The lower you hang the pendant, the wider the pool of light on the ceiling
  • Creates interesting shadows on the ceiling
  • Up lighting with side lighting and shadows as well
  • Slightly asymmetrical oval shape, consider which side you want the wider width for installation clarity
  • There is a cable that runs from the top to the bottom of the interior of the light
  • The R7s version is the only one that you can dim with normal dimmers (LED versions available upon request)
  • Most LED R7s bulbs are bulkier than their halogen predecessor and you cannot, sadly, use the bulb cover with most of them which means that the bulb won't be diffused and you may experience a sharper shadow line and it won't be nice to look at from the top
  • Also available in LED versions (2700K and 3000K) which are available in 3 sizes and in gold as well as white - however, the LED require a specialist dimming and cable (push dim or on/off only), upon request
  • Some images are of the micro size, which is the LED version, not this bulb version, ditto for the gold finish (only in LED versions)
