At first glance, you might think this is a simple light - and visually it is but it is also incredibly cool and unique. The shade both absorbs the light, creating a visual halo, as well as casts a wider wash of light than you would get with a plain sphere.
You can tilt the shade, like you would a hat - which is so stylish. The profile slices through the space, letting the views beyond shine. The orb is fatter at the bottom, in delicious proportion to the rest of the shape (this also helps keep the shade on). The cable is neat and tidy. The best part? The little 'magic stick' at the bottom. You turn it on and off with a simple touch. To dim it, hold the stick and the light intensity will turn up or down. Brilliant.
Great for spaces where you don't want to obstruct the view and want to control the light at the source (not faff with switches or apps).
How cool for individual lighting control over a kitchen island, when one person might want brighter light at one and the other (relaxing) end want mellow lighting.
