The Cavity Recessed is a semi-recessed downlight that cleverly uses the trim to conceal the light source. A shallow, curved aluminium body sits less than 3 cm proud of the surface, cradling the light source within so it's never directly visible. Instead of a reflector, the specially shaped body draws light outward and downward in a wide, powerful (dimmable) beam spread with no glare. Choose a glass diffuser for a broad, even wash, or a 46° spot lens (Small) / 60° spot lens (Large) for a more directed, focused beam. Winner of the 2019 German Design Award.
