Cauvet Pi Table Lamp, Brass and Concrete, LED, Cord Switch Dim, IP20
Cauvet Pi Table Lamp, Brass and Concrete, LED, Cord Switch Dim, IP20
What’s so special about this light …
Love this table lamp for its strong, undeniable sculptural effects. The lighting highlights the incredible design, and provides subdued backlighting when positioned against a wall. The shape is monolithic and timeless. The base is nearly invisible and utterly confident. Even the dimmer on the cord is a work of art. The designer aimed to capture the past, the present and the future. Brass plated steel and concrete. Absolutely gorgeous.
LED lamping, 2700K, 13.5W, 1350 Lumens [but very subtle lighting, not bright], Dimmable via rotary button on cord.
From the manufacturers:
The light source shines backwards, so PI is installed next to a wall, which it will illuminate to give a pleasant light.
Iota Tau Pi, three lamps that borrow their names and shapes from the Greek alphabet. A return to the essentials of language, a timeless dialogue. The object is on the border between a sculpture and an architectural building, it is functional through its light.
