Raising and lowering pendants is very, very useful and this one is also very, very stylish. The counterweight is incredibly satisfying to deal with, raising and lowering the shade easily and in perfect balance. It looks great, it works great and it's well priced (for the design you get). The canopy is much more complex then most standard canopies - it's a half sphere, completely sliced in half, so that in profile, you appreciate the incredible design work that went into it. The cone shade is timeless and will certainly stand the test of time. E27 lamping, not included.
