Collection: LIGHTS FOR BATHROOMS

The bathroom is one of the smallest yet most visited room in the house. There are a few key strategies when lighting your bathroom, but each one needs a deep dive, and I'm not going to try to cover it all here. Believe it or not, there are 7 different types of lights in this little room. There are wall lights, ceiling lights, step lights, downlights, niche lights, LED strip lighting and illuminated mirrors. You can have a mix of or all of these different types of light, depending on space, budget and inclination.

Top Tip: It's a great idea to send light forwards, not downwards. What I mean is, use wall lights or pendants with a glare-free glow to go alongside your face versus lighting yourself from above, which creates unflattering shadows. This idea goes for the shower, too - try to avoid downlighting inside your shower (I'm not suggesting pendants inside your shower!)
