Hallway step lights are a brilliant way to provide navigational light in the evening. It's like they whisper, 'psst...this way'. People love step lights in hallways because they're often a surprising charming delight, like little fairy doors.  There are lots of step lights to choose from, including plastered in trimless versions which look like magical windows when lit.

Top Tip: If you're using step lights in your stairs, you don't have to use the exact same ones in the hallway - you can mix and match shapes if the light source is the same. Like tall ones in the hall, short ones for the stairs - or visa versa.
