Collection: DOWNLIGHTS FOR HALLWAYS

Hallway downlights are effective in providing both navigational light and light for when it's time to clean. A good placement idea is in front of doorways and spaced about 1 metre apart, depending on the type of of downlight. You can choose angled ones if you want to highlight art work or pictures. Downlights can benefit from layering in some wall lights as well, to counteract the dark ceiling effect that comes with downlights - particularly in hallways as natural light is rare in these spaces.

Top Tip: The more recessed the light source is, the larger the shadow gap will be between the light and the walls.
